Stuffed Jalapenos

It’s getting toward the end of hunting season at the lodge, and I finally had a brainstorm for an easy way to make poppers.  This year I’ve been buying Smoked Gouda Pimento Cheese (at Sam’s), just to set out with crackers.  I needed to use up what was left, and turned it into popper filling.  Hands down they are some of the best you’ll ever taste.


Stuffed Jalapenos


  • Large jalapeños, halved and seeded
  • Smoked Gouda Pimento Cheese (from Sam's)
  • Bacon, cooked and crumbled


  1. Heat oven to 425.
  2. Mix cheese and bacon. Stuff in pepper halves.
  3. Place on parchment lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake about 15-18 minutes.
