Sauteed Sweet Potatoes

Sometimes I don’t want any kind of mashed, candied, or marshmallowed sweet potatoes.  I harvested a few small sweet potatoes from the garden, and just wanted to fix them simply.

Sauteed Sweet Potatoes

Total Time: 25 minutes

Yield: Serves 4


  • 3-4 TBSP butter
  • Sweet potatoes, peeled and cut in about 1" cube size
  • Frankly Delicious seasoning
  • Beef broth


  1. Melt butter in a skillet on medium heat.
  2. Add sweet potatoes and seasoning. Let cook in butter until brown on one side, then stir and continue cooking.
  3. When the potatoes are brown on a couple sides, add a little broth to the bottom of the pan, put a lid on the pan and cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
