It was a day of foraging in the yard again. I’m shifting my thinking about what I’ve always thought of as pesky “weeds,” and reseeding nuisances. I’m now considering them as food! My salads have dandelion leaves, baby lamb’s quarters, and my ever present arugula. The salad in the picture has a little lettuce, a few beets, and some goat brie. We’re still picking up a lot of pecans in the yard, but none of them made it into my salad today. I use a simple oil and vinegar dressing.
