I just can’t get away from popper recipes – different jalapeño fillings, popper casserole, and popper topping. So why not popper toast? Make small toasts for an appetizer, or serve as a side dish.
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 TBSP picante
- 3 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- Fresh jalapeño slices
- Bread slices, lightly toasted
- Mix the first 4 ingredients well. Spread on bread. Top with jalapeño.
- Broil until bubbly.
